PRESENTATION ABSTRACT:

The Human Connection to the Future of Quality

The transformation of industry and quality to what is called 4.0 is just not about technology and machines. Humans are an integral part of this transformation and are a valuable asset that organizations need to manage complex technologies. The future of quality will depend on a combination of technical and human factors but the new emphasis will be on our human abilities, creativity, and problem-solving skills to meet the changing demands of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Human factors engineering is the science of understanding human capabilities and provides solutions to measure and improve the human element in today’s transformative technologies. Cher Nicholas will discuss how incorporating human factors knowledge and applications can support business and quality goals for the future.
